١٠
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ١٠
And that within the breasts is obtained,
١١
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرُۢ١١
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.

القَارِعَةِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
◆
١
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ١
The Striking Calamity -
٢
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ٢
What is the Striking Calamity?
٣
وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ٣
And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
٤
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ٤
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,
٥
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ٥
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
٦
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٲزِينُهُۥ٦
Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
٧
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ٧
He will be in a pleasant life.
٨
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٲزِينُهُۥ٨
But as for one whose scales are light,
٩
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ٩
His refuge will be an abyss.
١٠
وَمَآ أَدْرَٮٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ١٠
And what can make you know what that is?
١١
نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ١١
It is a Fire, intensely hot.
◆
التَّكَاثُرِ
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
◆
١
أَلْهَـٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ١
Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
٢
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ٢
Until you visit the graveyards.
٣
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٣
No! You are going to know.
٤
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ٤
Then no! You are going to know.
٥
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ٥
No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...
٦
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ٦
You will surely see the Hellfire.
٧
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ٧
Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.
٨
ثُمَّ لَتُسْــَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ٨
Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
